Bernice Wellbaum- Frey

Bernice Wellbaum-Frey,
89, died at 10:10 PM on Sunday, March 02, 2014, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

Bernice was born on May 15, 1924, in Geyer, Ohio to the late Henry V. White and Louvisa Mae (Setty) White. In January of 1942 she married Vernon Wellbaum, he died in May of 1983. In June 1991, she married Oliver Frey, he preceded her in death on August 21, 2002. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: three children, Linda (John) Shappell of Hamilton, IN; Keith (Kim) Wellbaum, of Silver Lake, IN, Dr. Ronald "Joe" Wellbaum of Washington; one stepson, Richard C. Frey, of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren, Joel Shappell, Stephanie Katich, Joseph Wellbaum, David Wellbaum, Andrew Wellbaum, Jeffrey Wellbaum, Megan Wellbaum; nine great grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha, Xander, Kiley, Gabe, Katie, Olivia, Callum, Simone and Aram; one step grandchild, Jerry A. Frey; two step great grandchildren, Parker L. Frey and Carter Frey; a niece, Linda Painter-Stemen.

She was preceded in death by: nine brothers, Herbert, Cecil, Hershel, Wallace, Ralph, Phillip, Howard, Kermit, and Kenneth White; two sisters, Beatrice White, and Bernita Offenbacher.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2014 and from 10:00 till time of service on Saturday. March 8, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Bucher officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery
