72, died at 1:18 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit in Lima, Ohio.
Connie was born on Saturday, November 4, 1944, in Lima, to the late Leroy and Dorothy [Bilby] Emehiser. On Saturday, February 6, 1965, in Ohio, she married John J. Fitzgerald who survives in Lima.
She was a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Eagles Aerie #371and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #199. She liked spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Timothy J. (Cindy) Fitzgerald of Kalida; two daughters, Melissa A. (Dan) Burden and Kelly L. (Matt) Jarrell both of Lima; one sister, Judy (Bill) Riemesch; six, grandchildren, Allison and Adam Fitzgerald, Tyler and Justin Burden, Richey and Ethan Jarrell; one great-grandchild, Kenzley Burden; a sister-in-law Cathy (Richard) Goering and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Cummins and Lois Givens.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lima, Ohio.
A Memorial Service will begin at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pastor Neal Whitney will officiate. Entombment of ashes will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
