Emma Jean Foor,

89, went to be with her Lord and her husband at 4:22 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Bridge Home Health and Hospice, in Findlay.

Emma was born on Saturday, February 6, 1926, in Lima, to the late Clarence Sroufe and Ida Mae (Beam) Sroufe/Fizer. On Saturday, November 8, 1952, in Indiana, she married Robert Eugene "Gene" Foor, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2010.

Emma graduated from Lima South High School in 1944. She had worked for various companies as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and had been a very active member there for over fifty years.

She is survived by: two daughters, Darlene (Gary) Grau of Lima and Joyce (Eugene) Fernandez of Findlay; four grandchildren, Monica (Joseph) Taflinger, Mark Puglise, Angela (Adam) Cawrse and Philip (Nicolette) Fernandez; four great-grandchildren, Emma Taflinger, Noah and Samuel Cawrse and Hudson Fernandez and a sister, Dorothy Staley of Lima.

She is preceded in death by: three brothers, Robert Sroufe, Harold Sroufe and James Sroufe and a sister, Betty Evans.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Woodlawn Baptist Church on the corner of Woodlawn and Judkins Ave. in Lima. Rev. David Sanford will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
