81, went home to be with the Lord at 3:31 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Franklin was born on Tuesday, January 30, 1934, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Marvel G. and Elnora C. (Fowler) Armentrout. In 1971 he married Victoria G. (Jones) Armentrout, who survives.

Franklin was a member of Lima Baptist Temple Church. He had a love for fishing and gardening. He and Vickie loved dining and socializing at Burger King, especially at the Lima Eastside location. He also loved studying his Bible. He was a verteran of both the United States Army and Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He leaves: daughters, Marjorie (Willard) Green, Marlene (David) Cross, Carolyn Howard, Marilyn (Barry) Primmer; son - Marvel (Kathryn) Armentrout; step children, Rosemary (Rollie) Benedum, II; grandchildren, Renee Benedum, Rollie (Cassandra) Benedum , III, Robert (Amy) Benedum, Kelly Waltz, April Waltz, Marion (Brenda) Waltz, Richard (Denise) Stotts, Jr., Kevin Stotts, Nicole Green, David (Brooke) Cross, Nichole Metzger, Tracy Metzger, Rebecca (Steven) Rode, Kari Gall, Domonick (Tabatha) Gall and Marisa (Donovan) Carnahan; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, James W. Armentrout; sister's, Loretta A. Williams, Judith Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: step daughter, Nancy Waltz; stepsons, Denver J. Stotts, Richard C. Stotts, Sr., and grandchild, Rhonda Benedum.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Lima Baptist Temple in Lima, OH. Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate.

Intombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
