Gloria A. Albright
87, passed away Friday November 29th at 3:59 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, surrounded by family.
She was born October 11, 1926 in Troy, Ohio to Carmen and Pauline Gray, who both preceded her in death. On May 28, 1948 near Dayton, Ohio she married Richard L. Albright, who preceded her in death in August, 2012.
Mrs. Albright graduated in 1945 from Lost Creek High School in Casstown, Ohio. Living in Dayton, she had worked at Delco Products and many years at the Dayton Better Business Bureau. While living in Lima she was employed at Lima Memorial Hospital and Don Johnson Florists.
Mrs. Albright was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and working crossword puzzles and picture puzzles. She, like her husband mostly enjoyed vacationing with family and friends at the ocean in South Carolina and especially spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Mark R. (Ann) Albright of Lima, Matthew G. (Diana) Albright of Elida; grandsons, Bryan (Jen) Albright of Lima, Todd (Heather) Albright of Hilliard, and Michael Albright of Columbus; granddaughters Cherilyn (Aaron) Bensinger of Elida and Christine Albright (Fiancé Josh Bloomfield) of Elida; great grandsons Dominic Albright-Jahnz, Blaine Albright and Hunter Bensinger; great granddaughters Lucy Bensinger and Braylie Bensinger. Also surviving are sisters Betty Etherington of Troy, Ohio, Janice Hartley of Troy, Ohio and Ruth McElfresh of Idaho. A brother-in-law Glenwood Albright of Dayton and sister-in-law Dorothy Protsman of Dayton.
She will be truly missed by her family, friends, and all those who she shared her life.
A private family service will occur at a later date with Rev. Wanda Werking officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
