Iona L. Minton,
age 91, passed away at 7:25 A.M., on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville, OH.
She was born in Lima on January 18, 1926 to the late Kenneth and Victoria Bowsher. On September 19, 1959 she married Harry W. Minton who preceded her in death in 2005.
Iona was a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed the time that she was able to spend with her family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickye (Tom) Lewis of Zanesville: Two grandchildren Adam (Cami) Lewis and Leigh-Ann Lewis. A sister -in- law Geraldine Coolahan and a niece Staci Moran and nephew Steve Coolahan.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23 at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, at the funeral home. Pastor Sam Payne will officiate.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
