Jack N. Strahm,

89, passed away at 5:45 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at his residence in Elida, Ohio.

Jack was born on Sunday, April 25, 1926, in Lima, Ohio, to the late George C. and Goldie I. (Stedcke) Strahm. On Sunday, April 13, 1947 he married Betty Joyce (Hahn) Strahm who survives.

Jack was an Army Air Corp, WWII Veteran. He was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church, Eagles Aerie #370 and the Elks Lodge #54. Jack taught at Lima Senior High School for 5 years and started the Auto-Diesel Program at Northwestern Business College where he was a vice-president. He received an MS from the University of Toledo in Vocational Education.

He is survived by: a son, Jack A. (Sue) Strahm, Sr. of Lima; a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Stonehill of Elida; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Roz Strahm.

A memorial service will begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Forest Park United Methodist Church in Lima, Ohio where friends may call from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 noon with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating. Interment of the ashes will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund.
