Jacqueline H. (Farrow) Phalen,
87, of Lima, passed away at 2:25 P.M., at Shawnee Manor on November 26, 2016.
She was born on January 8, 1929 in New York City, New York to Peter and Bertha (Must) Farrow who both preceded her in death. On October 14, 1946 she married Paul James Phalen who preceded her in death.
Jacqueline was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church its St. Rose Altar Rosary Society and a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.
She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed music, reading, gardening, camping and cross stitch. She had a great love for animals and spent most of her life volunteering.
Jackie (Mom, Granny) was blessed with four daughters: Peggy (Tom) McClellan of Lima, Lynn Carpenter of Batavia, Becca (Roc) (Haman) Page of Delphos, Deb (Rick) (Axtell, Pacey) Thomas of Wapakoneta; grandchildren, Chris, Niki, Angie, Jason, Christina, Jenny, Wes, Henry, Bryan, Walt and Tim and twenty five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: sister Loretta (Farrow) Oakley; brother, Peter Farrow and great-grandchild, Tyler, and her father-in-law Dick Hamilton, and her mother-in-law Marguerite (Phalen) Hamilton.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church. Father David Ross will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church or the Allen County Humane Society.
