69, died at 1:48 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Georgia.
James was born on December 18, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Herman Joseph Doseck and Faye (Marriott) Doseck who survives.
James married Virginia on August 17, 1968 in Harrod, Ohio. She survives in Elida, Ohio. He retired from Ryerson Tull, Inc in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Bath High School in 1962 playing football, baseball and basketball. He was a member of the Carteclay United Methodist Church in Ellijay, GA. He was a member of the National Association of Credit Management. He was an avid golfer and a major sports fan, especially Ohio State University.
He is survived by: a daughter, Valerie Doseck; a brother, Thomas Doseck; a sister, Carole (Michael) Baughman; a faithful companion, his dog, Belle.
He was preceded in death by; a sister-in-law Caren Doseck.
A private family graveside service will be conducted at a later date with Rev. Paul Scannell officiating.
