Josefina Torres-Tippie
67, died at 6:25 PM on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.

Josefina was born on March 11, 1947, in McComb, Ohio, to the late Florencio Torres and Petra (DelaRosa)Torres.

Josefina married Harold Tippie on February 5, 1966. He survives in Lima. Josefina was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 20 years at the Oaks Convalescent Care Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a pillar of strength for her entire family. She's truly loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by:a daughter Anita (Rodney) Dumm, of Lima, OH; a son Lynn (Danielle) Tippie, of Ottawa, OH; a son Michael Tippie, of Norfolk, VA; a sister Tina Torres, of Monroe, OH; a brother Frank (Bertha) Torres, of New Albany, IN; a sister Maria DeLuna,of New Albany , IN; a brother Tom (Sylvia) Torres, of Lima, OH; a sister Oralia (Nolan) Zimmerman,of Delphos, OH; a sister Juanita Bouvier, of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren Rodney (Deedra) Dumm, Natasha Dumm, Eric (Samantha) Tippie, Shane (Kimberly) Dumm, Christina Tippie, Christopher Tippie, Dylan Tippie; eight great grandchildren Jaden, Ariana, Noah, Aniyah, Sophie, Scarlet, Alana, Lyla.

She is preceded in death by: a brother Rosolio "Charlie" Torres; a sister -Rita Beair; and a great grandchild Kain Dumm.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 03, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 04, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. With Father Mike Houston officiating.
