Katie (Heidenescher) Mills
45, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.
She was born on Tuesday, September 26, 1967, in Lima, Ohio to Bob (Edie) Heidenescher and Kathy (McNamara) (Michael) Eley. On Monday, December 07, 1992, she married C. Todd Mills, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2000.

Katie had been the assistant manager at Goodwill Industries and also had worked at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken and the Fraternal Order of Orioles #173. She loved growing plants, especially hibiscus. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love for her family as a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, girlfriend and friend. Our hearts are broken. She will forever be missed so deeply. She touched so many lives, in so many ways. We will never hear her "special" laugh again.

She is survived by: a son, Kory M. (Stacey) Carter; two daughters, Katarina Mills, and Katelyn Mills: a brother Bobby Joe (Sherry) Heidenescher; a grandson Aidan Michael Carter; a special niece, Amber Rae Dodds; special nephew Skyler Joseph Heidenescher; boyfriend Charlie Bott and his family; and her many aunts, uncles and cousins; mother and father-in-law Vickie and Roger Blandzinski; so very many friends, especially, York Engberg and her beloved dog Snow. She was an adored second mom to so many.

Preceded in death by: Granny McNamara; Art and Bernie Heidenescher.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 08, 2013 and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, August 09, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 09, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.

Interment of ashes at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery.
