Linda K. Hawk , 63, died at 11:35 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Linda was born on Wednesday, January 24, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Harold E. Keneipp and Frances Marion [Stubblefield] Keneipp.
On Saturday, July 24, 1976 she married Donald R. Hawk and he survives in Lakeside.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima and Lakeside United Methodist Church, Lakeside. She was a member of Shawnee Twp Fire Dept Auxiliary for many years, was a seamstress, as well as a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She had worked in various Allen County schools as an aide with handicapped children for almost a decade.
She is survived by her daughter, Molly (Jason) Mazur of Port Clinton, OH; two step sons, Donald J. Hawk of NC and Robert Jay Hawk of OR; also three grandchildren, Kirsten Lorge, Jordan Mazur and Logan Mazur.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald Keneipp, and Allen Roger Keneipp and one grandchild, Noah Mazur.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. John Foster and Rev. Vern Shepherd officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
