72, died on August 25, 2013 at 8:57 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Lois was born on November 04, 1940, in Mason, Michigan, to the late Harace Sites and Nellie [Daughtery] Sites.
Lois married Thomas L. Brookman on October 5, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. Lois was a very caring person. She loved her family, extended family, and friends very much. She was always watching her grandsons, nieces and nephews and great nephews. She loved being with people and having cookouts, soup parties, and getting together with family at the holidays. She was a life long member of the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene and there she enjoyed her small group Bible study and Koinonia.
She is survived by: two daughters, Lori A. Coon, of Lima, OH, and Debbie K. (Carey) Waltz, of Van Wert, OH; two grandsons, Thomas Coon, and Aaron Coon and a sister, Dixie (Robert) Galbraith, of Lima, OH.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, George Sites and a sister, Barbara Henderson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. and her nephew, The Rev. Andrew Lauer will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
