65, died at 11:15 PM on Wednesday, September 03, 2014, at Sara Jane/Vancrest Living Center in Delphos, Ohio.

Lynda was born on Friday, November 05, 1948, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Alfred Murphy Sr. and Rose [Clancy] Murphy.

She was a member at St. Gerard's Catholic Church She had worked at the workshop at Marimor Industries and she was an avid Bowler at Westgate Lanes in the Marimor League.


She is survived by her sister, Rose R. Fischbach of Elida, OH, three brothers; Gerald P. (Geraldine) Murphy of Englewood, Charles L. (Teresa) Murphy of Fort Wayne, IN, and James J. Murphy of Lima, OH. Also surviving are four sister-in-laws ; Marie, Jean, Robbie and Jeanette Murphy.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, . Alfred T. Murphy, Jr., Michael L. Murphy, Patrick J. Murphy and Terrence R. Murphy, a sister Alice Jean Stratton and a two brother-in-laws Ray Fischbach and Larry Stratton.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 07, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 08, 2014 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lima, OH. Father Jim Szybonia will officiate.

Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery
