80, died at 9:45 PM on Wednesday, December 03, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Madeline was born on January 16, 1934, in Spencerville, Ohio, to the late Doyt Fowler and Goldie (Wheeler) Fowler. Her mother passed away very early in her life and she was raised by her "second Mom" Winifred Fowler. On Saturday, November 11, 1950, she married Gaylord L. Sneary. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2010.
She was a member of Maysville United Methodist Church; Eagles Aerie #3615 in Lakeview, OH and played cards there frequently. She retired from Triplett Corp. of Bluffton, OH, and also worked at Waynesfield School Cafeteria.
She is survived by: three sons, Steven (Debbie) Sneary, of Tampa, Fl., Kenneth (Friend - Judy) Sneary, of Lima, OH, and Rick Sneary, of Harrod, OH; a brother, Fredrick Fowler, of FL; a twin sister, Pauline Thrower, Arizona, and two other sisters, Carol Jane Bower, of Lima, OH, and Katherine Hennessy, of Lima, OH; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Brian Sneary; a daughter, Vicki Sneary; three brothers, Donald Fowler, Robert Fowler, and Raymond Fowler; a great granddaughter, Aubrey Shobe.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 06, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin on Sunday, December 07, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Pastor Matthew Oliver officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio.
