Miranda was born on February 25, 1914, in Lima, Ohio, to Samual Mougey and Irene (Barr) Mougey. In 1934, she married Byron Jackson Lehman. He preceded her in death.
Miranda had worked at North Star Wool Mills. Pangles, Home Service, & Welles Dept. Store. She was a member of Easter Star #121, Orioles Ladies Aux., Eagles Ladies Aux, St Luke's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, Dick (Jackie) Lehman, of Boise, ID; a son-in-law, Charles Iiams, of Lima, OH; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-five, great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Jean (Edward) Cunningham; a daughter, Charlene Ann Iiams; a grandson, Edward Cunningham III; a great granddaughter, Mackenzie Joyner; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha (Oliver) Hager and two brothers, Robert and Richard Mougey.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Wanda Werking will be officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
