Nancy was born on October 2, 1954, in Lima, Ohio, to Paul Ladd and Annette (Whetstone) Ladd, who preceded her in death. On Monday, May 9, 1988, she married Joe Fitzwater. He survives in Lima.
She was a very free spirited person, always enjoying life by the moment. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by two daughters, Hope (Brian) Sampson and Heather Tracey; four stepchildren, Judy Fitzwater, Jodi (Kevin) Terrill, Charles Fitzwater and Julie Duran; nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Oday, a brother, Ron Ladd; two special Goddaughters, Melody and Amy.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Darrel Ladd.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
