Nancy Mae Lhamon

Nancy Mae (Hall) Lhamon, age 73, passed away on June 2, 2017, at 10:40 pm, at Springview Manor. She lost her long battle with cancer.

Nancy was born on February 28, 1944 in Lima, OH to Robert E. Hall and Helen G. (Stevens) Hall who both preceded her in death. She is survived by 2 siblings James (Bonnie) Hall and Es-tella (Bud) Hilgert. She has one sibling who has preceded her in death, Robert (Peggy) Hall.

Nancy is survived by 5 children and 4 step-children. Marna (Tim) Strahm; with John S. Harrod. Stephen (Angela) Parent and Susan (Doug) Vasquez; with Stephen Parent. Joni (Trevor) Smith, Ben Lhamon, Willard "Topper" Lhamon, Carolee (Stoney) Lhamon, David Lhamon and Kellye (Ed) Lhamon-Janis; with the love of her life Burlin Lhamon (who has preceded her in death).

Nancy is also survived by 17 grandchildren. Steven and Nikki Strahm. Ashely and Amber Vasquez. Amanda (Shane) McDaniels. Mia Holsinger. Justin and Kodi Neff. Lane Brewer. Tyler Bell. Nathan (Mandy) Lhamon. Jerrid "Bear" Lhamon. Brad York. Sarah (Richard) Leistner. Sa-rah (Nick) Pogotis. Brian (Nicole) Janis. Michael (Mary) Janis. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Nancy loved her family, friends and animals. She was a kind soul who liked to see the good in people and would do anything to make their lives easier. She loved the outdoors and was her happiest there! She worked as a cashier for BP Oil, Home Depot and finally Lowes. She was recognized for her customer service skills in all of these places! One of Nancy's greatest loves was her horse Lady who has preceded her in death.

We are so proud of you Mom! We will always miss and love you each and every day to come. Please rest in peace, your work here is now complete. ~ Your Children

There will be no funeral or viewing per Nancy's request. But there will be a Memorial Picnic in her honor Saturday June 10 at 4 pm. They will meet at Kendrick Woods in Spencerville, OH in the Hickory Shelter House. Please bring your memories and a covered dish.
