Norma Louise Gossard
83, died at 10:29 PM on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Norma was born on October 15, 1932, in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, to the late Harry and Gretchen (Zarr) Collins.

Norma married Richard W. Gossard on February 22, 1959. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2000. She had worked at the Coke-a-Cola Company and Flanagans. She was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church. She loved history, working crosswords, the Pittsburg Steelers and The Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She was a very compassionate, caring person, who always put family first. She never said a harsh word about anybody.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia J. (Michael) Montgomery, of Lima, two sons, Robert D. Gossard, of Lima, and Richard W. Gossard, of Beavercreek, OH; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a sister, Treva Webb, of Lima and a brother, David (Carol) Collins, of Ellenton, FL.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Collins, a sister, Mary Furr and a granddaughter, Jennifer Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Michael Hughes will officiate.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
