64, passed away on Friday, July 03, 2015, at 2:06 P.M. at her residence.
Paula was born on Monday, October 23, 1950, in Lima, Ohio to William and the late Marjorie (Wolff) McWhorter. On Saturday, November 21, 1981, she married Robert Newton who preceded her in death in January.
She was a technician at Maxfields Pharmacy and a loving grandmother.
Paula is survived by children, Rob Sampson, Bryan (Linda) Sampson; Melissa (Mike) Conner Whitehair, Robert J. Newton II and Marcey Godfrey; grandchildren, Layken, Ally, Megan, Lauren, Jessie, Gage, Keagan, Mikaylah and McKenzie: a brother James McWhorter of Jamestown, Ohio and her dog named "Babe".
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Meihls.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. on Monday. John Christoff will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
