Rosemary L. McPheron, 87, died at 11:10 PM on Tuesday, November 05, 2013, at Kahl Home in Davenport, Iowa.
Rosemary was born on Monday, May 31, 1926, in Landeck, Ohio, to Louis Rahrig and Olivia [Clement] Rahrig who both preceded her in death. On Saturday, February 15, 1947, in Ohio, she married James A. McPheron and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1986.
Rosemary was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had been a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church its Bereavement support Group and its Alter and Rosary Society. She was a member of the VFW Post 1275 Ladies Aux.and the Eagles Aux. #370. She was in the Senior Bowling League.
Surviving are two granddaughters Nicole Simpson of Hawthorne, NJ and Shannon (William) Crawford of Bettendorf, IA; three great grandchildren Tyler, Courtney and Alyssa Crawford; a sister Norene (Richard C.)Ricker of Ft. Jennings, OH.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Virginia "Ginny" Simpson; a brother Mike Rahrig; two sisters Angela Ricker and Sister M. Eleanor Rahrig.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima, with Father Mike Houston officiating.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
