Sonny Strange, 84, died January 10, 2015 at Bridge Hospice Center in Findlay, Ohio.
Sonny was born May 22, 1930 in Jenkins, Kentucky to William and Ettie (Reynold) Strange.
Sonny served in the United Stated Army during the Korean War. He retired from Teledyne after 27 years and worked for Siferd Funeral Home. He was a member of the VFW #1275 and the American Legion #96. He was also a former member of Elida Sertoma.
He is survived by his children: Daughter's, Etheline (Richard) McGuire of Elida, Ohio; Debbie Graham of Bellefontaine, Ohio; Angela (Alan) Loftis of Elida, Ohio; Kimberly Strange of Shawnee, Ohio; sons, Michael (Karla) Strange of Shawnee, Ohio; Anthony (Diane) Strange of Albany, New York; Patrick (Tami) Strange of Shawnee, Ohio; Jeff (Mandy) Strange of Bath, Ohio; sister, Jean Polser; twenty three grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Ettie (Reynold) Strange, brothers, Edgar; Lee; Earl and Owen Phillips, sisters, Hattie Hamilton; Bertha; Dorothy May; Joyline Strange and Demple Strange.
There will be a private family service at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
