99, died at 8:00 AM on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Primrose Retirement Communities in Lima, Ohio.

T. Burton was born on November 9, 1915, in Forest, Ohio, to the late Francis Somers and Edwina (Purdy) Somers.

Burton married Frances L. Downey. She preceded him in death. He was a Quality Control Analysis Engineer for Westinghouse Aero Space Division. He was a lifelong member of South Side Christian Church. Burton loved everyone he met, and everyone who met him loved him.

He is survived by: three sons, Larry F. (Cheri) Barnes, of Ft. Wayne , IN, Rick A. (Linda) Somers, of San Antonio, TX and Craig L. (Jeanne) Somers, of Lima, OH; six grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) Pavacik, of Zeeland, MI, Kirk Barnes, of Ft. Wayne, IN, Karen (Brant) Burnfield, of Vincent, OH, Keith Somers, of Lima, OH, Jason (Luba) Somers, of San Antonio, TX, Brian Somers, of Lima, OH; six great grandchildren, Erin Pavacik, Devon Burnfield, Ashley Pavacik, Alina Zalevsa, Zachary Somers and Mallory Burnfield; a sister, Eva Jean Penhorwood and a sister-in-law, Katheryn Somers; beloved cat, Sadie.

He was preceded in death by: a brother, David Somers, a sister Margaret Williams and a granddaughter Jamie Somers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral home and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at South Side Christian Church in Lima, Ohio.

A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at South Side Christian Church in Lima, OH. Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate.

Private family burial will occur at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
