Victoria G. (Stotts) Armentrout,

91, passed away at 9:50 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Vickie was born on January 26, 1924, in Lima, Ohio, to Owen George and Rosie Nell (Miller) Jones. She married Wilbur C. Stotts September 21, 1940. She later married Franklin Armentrout on August 22, 1971. They both have preceded her in passing.

Vickie has joined loved ones on the other side of The Veil. She was of the W.W.II generation. She spoke often of her part in the great war, which included letting her children and her grandchildren know about her efforts of sealing the tanks at the Lima Army Tank Plant. She believed it was very important to support our soldiers and country. She also was a fan of Big Band Music. She loved to dance the Jitter Bug. Her greatest attribute was Love Beyond Words. Her service in multiple ways cannot be counted. She was the heart beat of her family. She was employed at the Lima Army Tank Plant in the 40's. She retired from D.W.G. Cigar Corporation.

She leaves: daughter, Rosemary (Rollie II) Benedum, Lima; step children, Marjorie (Willard) Green, Marlene (David) Cross, Carolyn Howard, Marilyn (Barry) Primmer, Marvel (Kathryn) Armentrout; grandchildren, Renee Benedum, Rollie 'Tom' (Cassandra) Benedum III, Robert (Amy) Benedum, Kelly Waltz, April Waltz, Marion (Brenda) Waltz, Richard (Denise) Stotts, Kevin (Katelyn) Stotts, Marisa (Donovan) Carnahan; great grandchildren, Kenneth Benedum, Shawn Benedum, John Benedum, Andrew Benedum, Alex Benedum, Aaron Benedum, Jordon Coulter, Madison Coulter, Sidney Waltz, Ty Anthony Waltz, Lauren Stotts, Johnathan Stotts, Annia Stotts, Kia Stotts and many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by: sons, Wilbur George Stotts, Robert Eugene Stotts, Denver John Stotts, Richard Carl Stotts, Sr.; daughter, Nancy Irene Waltz; grandchild, Rhonda Benedum; sisters, Frances V. Hughes, Gustava L. Hadding, Nannie Jones, Mary Southwell-Schroeder; brothers, Henry M. Jones, George O. Jones, Bobby G. Jones.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

The funeral service will begin at 6 on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
