Willa L. Geib

Willa L. Geib , 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 4:58 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Willa was born on Saturday, November 30, 1935, in Lima to the late George Vincent Smiley and Earlene [Medsker] Smiley.

On July 11, 1953 she happily married Gene Geib and he survives in Lima.

Willa was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ and a graduate of Central High School.
She was also a homemaker, mother and wife, who enjoyed her grandchildren.


She is survived by two daughters; Beth (Richard) Wehner of Schoolcraft, MI and Jeri Ingle of Sylvania, OH, also surviving are six grandchildren and three sisters Jane Libert of Wapakoneta, OH, Anita Keller of Lakeview, OH, and Dee Walker of Billingham, WA.

She was preceded in death by a daughter - Marcene Shoemaker and a brother Earl Vincent Smiley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 02, 2014 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 03, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Chuck Collins officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
