A. Duane Rose, 71, of Elida, went home to his heavenly reward on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:00 a.m. at his home. He was born on December 4, 1950 in Lima to the late James and Pauline {Streets} Rose. On May 10, 1985 he married Twyla Cramer, who survives him.
Duane worked in agriculture and drove truck for 20 years. He also worked for the family farm and dairy. He was very involved in missions and went on many mission trips. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God in Kenton. Duane truly had a love for people. He would light up a room and knew exactly how to make someone feel special. His family were his ultimate blessing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: J. Dalyn Rose and B. Jesse (Erin) Rose, step-daughters: Melissa (Josh) Kearns and Ranelle (Brian) Rizor, grandchildren: Mackenzie, Julian, Delaney, AnnaMarie, Brayden, Hudson, Harper, Harrison, Max, Lauren, Zoey, Molly, Olivia, Ruby, and Maria, great-grandson: Kasen, and siblings: Barbara Cramer, Karen Shaffer, and Michael Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter: DeeAnna Rose.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 11 a.m.-2p.m. at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 1010 E. Franklin St. Kenton, where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
