Anita Yvonne Bimer

Anita “Nita” Yvonne Bimer, 78, of Elida, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at The Springs of Lima. She was born on September 1, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN to the late William and Vurla {Cooper} Black.

On June 3, 1966, she married Maurice Bimer Jr., who survives in Elida. Nita was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a member of SFO (Secular Franciscan Order).

She is survived by her husband, Maurice; son, Christopher (Kelly) Bimer; granddaughters, Katelynn (Nick) Zerante and Kelsey Bimer; great-grandchildren, Carter Zerante and Harper Zerante; sisters, Olga (Steve) Rasor and Tina George; and long time friend, Barb Link.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William L. Bimer; and father and mother-in-law, Maurice and Janette Bimer Sr.

Per her wishes, private services will be held.
