Anthony Lowell Shaw, 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Tony was born on August 27, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, to Richard and Alice (Quillin) Shaw. He was married to Linda Sue Shaw, who preceded him in death.
Tony bravely served in the US Marine Corp. during Vietnam and he worked at Dana as a Tool & Dye Maker, retiring after 51 years. He loved to golf and was a member of the Orioles #173 and Eagles #370. He was an avid OSU and Cleveland Browns fan.
He is survived by his sons, Scott (Jody) Shaw and Kevin Shaw; grandchildren: Jessica Currier, Blake (Cady) Shaw, Kaylynn Shaw, Jayden Shaw, and Jaylah Shaw; great-grandchildren: Braxton, Avalynn, Aiden, Jayleeon, and Mia; and siblings: Shelby Golden, Sylvia (Daniel) Otten, Randy (Maria) Shaw.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Shaw; and sister, Sheila Stayner.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at the funeral home. Father David Ross will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
