74, died at 4:22 p.m. May 30, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1929, in Lima, Ohio to Calvin Ray and Nellie Swickrath Reed Sr., who preceded her in death. On January 24, 1946, she married Irvin E. Market, who died May 1, 1963. On February 15, 1969, she married Clarence E. Bott, who died June 9, 1992. Mrs. Bott was a homemaker and had worked at Decker's, Cridersville, Ohio, the Blue Peaks and Superior Metals. She attended St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a member of Orioles Nest 173 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler, loved flower gardening and enjoyed playing cards. She was a devoted mother and grandma. Survivors include three sons, Gary Market of Lima, Ohio, Terry (Peggy) Market of Elida, Ohio and Edward D. Bott of Lima, Ohio; three daughters, Linda (Jack) Wierman of Lakeview, Ohio and Deborah (Karl) Twining and Tammy (Rick) Phillips, both of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Patty (Danny) Guisinger of Lima, Ohio; and 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Market; a son, Steven Market; three brothers, Ray Reed, Jr., Roger Reed and George Reed; and three sisters, Elizabeth Borger, Betty Warrens and Janet Coil. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 616 S. Collett St., Lima, OH 45805, or the intensive care unit at St. Rita's Medical Center.
