Belinda M. Butler, 81, of Lima, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Wapak Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 11, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert “Buddy” Quire and Harriet {Pepper} Quire.
She married Gary “Butch” Butler in 1963, and he preceded her in death in 1997. She enjoyed dressing up for children’s parties at The Moose Lodge and was Mrs. Claus for several years. She graduated from Bath High School and retired from Lima Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed mowing the grass, planting flowers, and of course, her dogs.
She is survived by her son: James Butler Sr. of Lima, daughter: Susan (Mike) Stahler of Wapakoneta, grandchildren: Sarah (Terry) Norris of Lima, James Butler Jr. of Columbus, and Brook (Jacob) Uhlenhake-Miller of Celina, sister: Sharon (Joe) Mains of North Hampton, sister-in-law: Betty Baker, and family friend: Mike Uhlenhake of Celina.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Danielle Rains, and brothers: Robert (Wanda) Quire, William Quire, and Michael “Mick” Quire.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, February 9 2026 from 12-2 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
