BERNETA ROSALIE OFFENBACHER, 84, died at 7:45 a.m. December 6, 2004, at her residence. She was born October 1, 1920, in Hillsboro to Henry V. and Louvisa May Setty White, who preceded her in death. On March 27, 1941, she married Charles W. Offenbacher, who died April 7, 1989. Mrs. Offenbacher retired from Noonans Office Supply and had worked at Emerson-Price. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and its Ruth Circle, United Methodist Women and the Friends Forever Club. She was a member of Chapter 16 Order of Eastern Star. She had been a member of Lima Limelighter Chapter and the Sweet Adelines. Survivors include a son, Dale (Carol) Offenbacher of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Linda Joann (Scott) Stemen of Lima, Ohio and Kay Ellen Seymour of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Bernice White Frey of Lima, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and good friend and neighbor, Joyce Kemper. She was preceded in death by nine brothers, Herbert White, Cecil White, Hershel White, Wallace White, Ralph White, Phillip White, Howard White, Kermit White and Kenneth White; and an infant sister, Beatrice White. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard "Bud" Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 616 S. Collett, Lima, OH 45805.
