Brenda E. Gibson

Brenda E. Gibson, 63, passed away at 7:21 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Brenda was born on March 31, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to Samuel and Ginger (Stubbs) McClure.  On March 7, 1999, she married Junior Gibson II, who preceded her in death on January 27, 2022.

Brenda lived a blessed and happy life. She loved to paint and plant flowers. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittney (Matt) Stemen; step-daughters, Cindy Evans and  Ashlyn (Julius) Troy; grandchildren: Vetta and Rory Stemen, Jayden, Khi’avion, Asher, Julia, Charles, Kippy, and Cori Ann Morgan; father, Sam (Dena) McClure; brother, Dana (Tamara) McClure; brother-in-law, Jarrod Gibson; stepsisters: Deta (Jeff) Miller, Tana (Randy) Crossley, Rachael (Ron) Cramer, Rebekah (Tony) LaJeunesse; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Along with her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Greg Evans.  

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Grace Worldwide Ministries, Lima, Ohio starting at 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow. Rev. Ron Fails will officiate.
