Carole Marie Maenle

Carole Marie Maenle, 83, passed away on February 17, 2024, at Aspen Trace Senior Living in Greenwood, Indiana. 

Carole was born on January 24, 1941, in Landeck, Ohio to Eugene and Margaret (Suever) Lause.  On September 29, 1962, she married Robert Maenle, who survives in Greenwood, Indiana.

Carole was a 1959 graduate of Delphos St. Johns. Carole also worked as a secretary for Central Mutual Insurance Company in Van Wert, Lima State Hospital, and the Allen County Health Department. She enjoyed reading, bowling, traveling and arts and crafts. Carole also had a very deep faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus. 

She is survived by her daughter Kathlene (Dean) Whitlow; grandchildren, Eric (Alison) Whitlow, and Brian Whitlow.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Maenle. 

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.  Very Reverend Fr. David Ross will officiate.  Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Landeck, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross or St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio.
