Catherine Ivy

Catherine Ivy, 71, was called home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center. Catherine was born on December 12, 1954, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to Henry Green and Katherine Killian.

Catherine was a very loving woman that loved being around her family and grandchildren. She was the life of the party everywhere she went. She made everybody laugh, and enjoyed going to church on Sundays. She was a member of Christian Cornerstone Ministry. She loved planting flowers.

She is survived by her children: Betty Kaba, Kelvin (Patricia Zupaardo) Ivy, Travis Ivy, Lakita Ivy, and special daughter, Alexis Ivy; 20 grandchildren; and four special great-grandchildren: Za’Riyah Moore, Kayden Moore, K’Sia Perryman, and Amiri Dillingham; siblings: George Green, Jackson Green, and Everline Milligan; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 19 siblings.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Christian Cornerstone Ministry church, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Pastor LaBarron Cox will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family towards funeral expenses.
