Chase CRAWFORD

CHASE W. CRAWFORD, 61, died at 2:15 p.m. July 18, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born September 9, 1942, in Lima, Ohio to J. Kenneth and Maxine Dyer Crawford, who preceded him in death. Mr. Crawford had been an administrator for the Florida State Board of Education. He received his bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, his master's degree from Miami University and his doctorate degree from The Ohio State University. He was the Owner and President of Crawford Shoe Company. Survivors include an aunt, Elizabeth Kofoed of Venice, Florida; seven cousins, Mike Kerr and Susie Snead, both of Texas, William Crawford of Virginia, Ann Hager of Kansas and Ellen Walters of Ohio; Steve Ring, Florida and Sue Ellen Wilson, Alaska and friends, Mary Ann Hoehn of Lima, Ohio and Marilyn J. Reaman. He was preceded in death by an infant brother. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. David Harris will officiate.
