Chris was a graduate of Lima Senior High School, having begun her education at St. Charles Primary School. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she centered her life around the love and joy of family. Chris will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the deep love she gave to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Jonathan (Danei) Bowers, Justin (Sal) Nance; three daughters, Melissa Nance, Tonya Nance and Angie (Vanessa) Nance; seven grandchildren: Nicole Nance, Deanthony Nance, Emily Robinson, Tyre Jackson, Faith Davenport, Trenton Nance, Taylor Bowers; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Kelly Bowers; and two sisters, Judy Rehrig and Deborah Nartker.
