59, died at 5:55 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Dale was born on November 23, 1956, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Frank J. Vogt and Juanita O. (Claypool) Vogt. On Thursday, August 4, 1977, in Lima, Ohio, he married Theresa Mann she survives in Lima. He served in the United States Army. He was an auxiliary police officer in Wapakoneta and formerly had been a police chief of Waynesfield. He was a volunteer and EMT for the Waynesfield Department. He was also a volunteer and EMT for Lakeview Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing. He was very active and always keeping busy.

Dale worked at St. Rita's Medical Center as campus police and later as Mechanic Surgical Team. He was formerly a member of the Wapakoneta F.O.E.

He is survived by two daughters, Becky S. Vogt and Amanda Vogt, a son, Jonnathon Vogt; two step sons, Doug Allen (Amy) Jones and family and David (Tina) Jones and family; four grandchildren, Jonnathon Vogt, Jr., Brittany Vogt, Autumn Vogt and Winter Vogt; two sisters, Jackie (Pohlman) Hutchins and Roxanne Clymer; two brothers, Randy (Gina) Vogt and Kevin (Amanda) Vogt and family; and close friend Pete Clymer and his Army friends of the 837; and Gilbert's in-laws.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Vogt and a sister, Kim Hoskinson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Pastor William Turner will officiate.
