David Fee

David Fee, 65, passed away at 9:14 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

Dave was born on November 29, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to Harold and Leona (Honingfort) Fee. On April 1, 2006, he married C. Connie (Martin) Fee, who preceded him in death.

Dave was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and a proud “Papaw.” His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his beloved wife, Connie Fee, whom he loved deeply. Together, they built a life centered on love, loyalty, and care for one another. He was a dedicated father to his three daughters, always showing up for them, guiding them, and making sure they felt safe, supported, and loved. Known for his generous spirit, Dave was the person everyone turned to in times of need. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply be there. His kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Dave had a lifelong passion for cars and worked as a mechanic, where his knowledge and skill seemed endless. If something had an engine, chances are Dave could fix it. He took pride in his work and was always willing to share what he knew. Outside of work, Dave found joy in the simple things. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, where he could relax and take in the quiet beauty of nature. He was also a fan of classic rock, with a special love for Pink Floyd, and enjoyed going to concerts whenever he could. In quieter moments, he could often be found playing solitaire. Dave will be remembered for his warm heart, his steady presence, and the way he made people feel cared for and valued. His love for his family will live on in each of them, and his memory will be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters, Autumn Spring, Patsy (Thomas Gaugh) Schlesselman, and Spring (Brent) Gaines; brothers, Jeff (Lee) Fee and Gary Fee; and a sister, Sandra Fee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Fee; and parents.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or National MS Society.
