David Mckinney

DAVID JAMES McKINNEY, 52, died at 1:30 p.m. August 17, 2004, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. He was born June 26, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to James and Janet Reed McKinney, who preceded him in death. His stepmother, Jane McKinney, survives in Lima, Ohio. He married Rebecca Wysong, who survives in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Mr. McKinney retired from BP Chemical Co., Lima, after 27 1/2 years. He was a member of American Trapshooting Association and the National Rifle Association. He was a member of Ohio trapshooting teams for several years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener and trapshooter. Survivors also include two daughters, Kara McKinney and Patricia McKinney, both at home; a son, Bryan McKinney, at home; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Wysong of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Charlene Myers of Lafayette, Ohio; a stepsister, Sandy (Paul) Hahn of Elida, Ohio; a stepbrother, Greg Moorman of Elida, Ohio; three grandchildren, Blake, Cohl and Grant, all of Lima, Ohio; two nieces, Danielle and Sheila; two great-nieces, Katie and Karlie; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ray and Nellie Reed; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Florence McKinney. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Sattler will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.
