December 8, 1916 — April 29, 2004

DEAN J. CIMINILLO, 87, died at 12:20 p.m. April 29, 2004, at Lima Convalescent Home. He was born December 8, 1916, in Lima, Ohio to Luigi and Constanza Colucci Ciminillo, who preceded him in death. On January 15, 1947, he married Dorothy Valli, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Ciminillo retired from Ciminillo's Fruit Market and had worked part-time at the Old Barn Out Back. He was a member of the Allen County Sportsmen's Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors also include five sons, Tony (Jenny) Ciminillo, Nicholas (Becky) Ciminillo, Michael (Mary) Ciminillo, Stephen (Misty) Ciminillo and Bill (Gaynita) Ciminillo, all of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Vickie (Rick) Gallegos and JoeyAnn (Charles) Wakefield, both of Lima, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Vera Ciminillo of Lima, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Dulebohn; three sisters, Katherine "Katie" Cira, Michalene Ciminillo and Mary Loggi; and four brothers, Louis "Jeff"Ciminillo, Victor Ciminillo, Joseph Ciminillo and Michael Ciminillo. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 30, 2004 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services today at the funeral home. Services will begin at 10 a.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. William Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 616 S. Collett St., Lima, OH 45805. Condolences may be sent to chfh@nicsweb.com. APRIL 30, 2004 EMILIE R. HULLINGER, 80, died at 10:25 p.m. April 30, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to John and Teresa Esposito Diomede, who preceded her in death. On September 2, 1946, at St. John's Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio, she married Eugene Hullinger, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Hullinger retired from Sears Department Store in Lima after 35 years. She was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center. She attended Senior Citizens and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary, Lima, Ohio. Survivors also include two daughters, Debbie (Robert) Mack of Elida, Ohio and Lynda (James) Stewart of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michael Stewart, Scott Stewart, Teressa Lee and Bryan Mack; two great-grandchildren, Lynsey Stewart and Kayla Mack; and a nephew, Fred (Rita) Cianciolo of Lakeview, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Diomede; and a sister, Elizabeth Cianciolo. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be held at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 692 S. Main St., Lima, OH 45804.
