DeAndre Deshawne Hall, 28, of Lima, OH, passed away in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1996, in Lima, OH to Sherisa D. Mayer who survives in Lima, and Willie Hall Jr. who preceded him in death.
DeAndre is survived by four brothers: DeOntae Hall of Columbus, OH, Calvin Grisby Hall of Los Angeles, CA, DiVante Hall and De`Antre Hall of Lima, OH; five sisters: Arkenya Hall of Columbus, OH, Kandis Hall of Toledo, OH, Le`Aijah Hall, De`Niziah Hall and DaKayla Hall of Lima, OH; three nephews: Zamir Hall, Chozen Hall, and Kavari Hall; four nieces: Heaven Burge, Treasure Hall, Di`Xhyla Hall, and Leilani Hall; maternal grandparents, Diane and Dave Mayer; two maternal aunts, Shaylynn (Tony) Raines, and Sonya (Jeff) Miracle; and one maternal uncle, Shane (Alicia) Mayer. He also leaves behind close friends: Akeeyla Dillard, Demontay Liles, Khira Williams, E.J. Smart, Anthony Brown-Shine, and Precious Reynolds.
Along with his father, Willie Hall Jr., he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Katrena Horace; paternal grandfather, Willie Hall Sr.; a cousin, Khadeshia Webb-Hall; uncle, Anthony Hall; and Auntie Casanova Maloy.
DeAndre attended Lima Senior High School, where he played basketball and football. He graduated in 2015 and shortly after attended Rhodes State College. He moved away at age 23 to go start a new life with his brother Calvin. He fell in love with California and became an employee at Landmark Environmental in Granada Hills, CA.
He loved to travel and go to the casino. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. DeAndre was a very caring person. He was willing to do anything for anybody and was always a helping hand. He was a very funny person and loved dancing and doing TikToks. He also loved Ohio State, and playing his PS5. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. His life consisted of working and taking care of his family.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at (to be determined) with visitation one hour prior to service. Shaylynn Raines will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
