Delourdes PRUETER

Lima DELOURDES G. PRUETER, 86, died at 11:25 a.m. Feb. 23, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1918, in Lima to John H. and Elsie Smith Harrington, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 20, 1945, she married Lelon John Prueter, who died Oct. 31, 1998. Mrs. Prueter retired as a homemaker and had been a secretary at O'Connor McLaughlin Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She had been a member of St Rose Altar Rosary Society. Survivors include two sons, Larry C. (Pamela) Prueter of Columbus and Dennis J. (Beverly) Prueter of Lima; a grandson, David Prueter of Columbus; and a stepgrandson, William M. Bessette of Torrance, Calif. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Eugene Harrington. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Father David Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church.
