Dennis Lee Klett, 72, passed away on November 14, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

He loved watching any baseball game he could find, always cheering for his Swinging A’s and the Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed researching and gathering information about the Seattle Pilots.

Dennis played many seasons on the Pepsi Softball Team, taking turns at catcher, first base, and the outfield. During football season, he could be found watching every game, jotting down scores, and faithfully rooting for “Da Bears”. He was also a big fan of WWE and classic western movies, especially those starring John Wayne.

Dennis is survived by his sisters, Deborah Owsley, Mary Mundy, and Teresa McIntosh; his brother, James Klett; and his sister-in-law, Dorothy Klett. He also leaves behind his niece, Christina (John) McDonald, whom he lovingly raised. Known as “Uncle Denny”, he will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Klett; brothers-in-law, David McIntosh and William Owsley; and his great-niece, Cailee Conley.

A private family service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Floor 3B at St. Rita’s, for the exceptional care and compassion they provided during Dennis’ time there.
