Donna F. Maki, 64, passed away at 1:50 p.m. on November 11, 2021 at her home in Lima.
Donna was born on May 27, 1957 in Wakefield, Michigan to Donald E. and Edith (Streeter) Latvala. On May 4, 1974 she married Steven M. Maki who survives in Lima.
Donna attended Bergland High School and graduated from Houghton High School both in Michigan. She was a caregiver for Huntington Trust and Comfort Keepers. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in LaFayette, OH, and The Gardeners of Lima. She always had beautiful flower gardens in her yard and entered many prize flowers at the fair, being awarded many ribbons, including Best of Show. She loved horses and of course her family was very important to her.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children: Steven (Christina) Maki, Nicholas Maki, Nancy Smith; grandchildren: Mason, Raigan, Morgan, and Payton Smith, and Kida and Gavin Maki; brother, Steven Latvala, brother-in-law Donald (Roxanne) Maki; and father-in-law, Raymond Maki.
She was preceded in death by her mother; mother-in-law, Ruth Maki; and brother-in-law, Brian Maki.
There will be no public visitation or services.
