Dwight Burden

Dwight Burden, 66, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Care Core Nursing Home in Lima.

He was born on August 15, 1959, in Lima, Ohio to the late Ivandale and Pearl (Eslava) Burden. On August 16, 2008, he married Robin Lones, who survives in Lima.

Dwight enjoyed music and playing instruments, especially the harmonica and the guitar. He loved playing sports and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He was extremely intelligent and enjoyed reading in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Cheyenne Burden and Shayn Buden; siblings: Ivandale Felix Burden, Rodriquez Joseph Burden, Karen (Lee) Gray, Geraldine (Mike) Hile, Eileen (Michael) Hartman, Philomenia (David) Burkholder, and Pearl (Frank) Holton; and his beloved dog, Bear.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eloise White, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Diana Lones.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.
