Edward Glen Thomas, 72, passed away at 2:56 a.m. on January 28, 2026, at Blue Creek Nursing Home.
Edward was born on October 6, 1953, in Lima, Ohio to James Thomas Sr. and Ola Mae (Stewart) Thomas Armstead.
Edward enjoyed dancing, having a good time, and being with his family.
He is survived by siblings: Lisa Armstead, Johnie (Nadeen) Armstead, Darnille Armstead, Kayleen (Willie) Watkins, and Aaron Thomas; special niece, Shonda Thomas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terance Denson; and siblings: Ronnie Gaston, Shirley (Lamar) McDowell, Eugene (Tammy) Gene-bo Burks, and James Thomas.
There will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for funeral expenses, the family has requested them be made directly to Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
