Elaine Ruth Harvey

Elaine Harvey, 80, passed away at 10:30 p.m. on July 9, 2025, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

Elaine was born on February 5, 1945, in Lima, Ohio, to John Emery and Mary Ruth (Morris) Harvey.

Elaine was a 1963 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She was employed at Westinghouse Electric for 30 years, she then worked at DTR in Bluffton where she retired from. Elaine loved camping, animals, playing cards, board games, John Wayne, motorcycles, and piddling in her yard.

She is survived by her siblings, Steven (Phyllis) Harvey of Elida, OH., and Barbara Leatherman of Lima, OH.; sister-in-law, Rita Harvey; and a brother-in-law, Tom Williamson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Harvey; a sister, Diane Williamson; and a brother-in-law, Terry Leatherman.

There will be a burial of ashes on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Todd Cosart will officiate.
