Emily Rae Rudy, 43, passed away on July 10, 2026, at her residence.

Emily was born on December 3, 1982, in Lima, Ohio, to William Ray and Rebecca Sue (Siebert) Barton.

Emily loved music and sang with a band called Let It Go. Emily was very creative and loved art and make-up.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her children: Mattayah McGuiness, Ember Rudy, and London Rudy; a brother, William Jeffrey Barton; an aunt, Laura (Matt) Redick; a grandfather, Gilbert Siebert; mother-in-law, Connie Rudy; and estranged husband, Kevin Rudy.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents; maternal grandma, Karen (Adams) Siebert; and father-in-law, William Rudy.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Lay-Servant David Belton will officiate.
