Eugenia M. Rodis, 76, of Lima, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on March 26, 1948, in the Philippines to the late Ambrosio and Iluminada {Gecale} Montano.
On March 14, 1976, she married Hero Rodis who survives in Lima. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, going to the casino, cooking, and above all else, being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Hero, she is survived by her children: Maria Luisa (Ernani) Cruz, Melissa Rodis, Albert (Robby) Rodis, and Anthony (Nunnteeyar Bunleut) Rodis; grandchildren: Eriah Cruz, Ethan Rahrig, Elijah Barraza, Lhia Rodis, Luna Rodis, and Kai Rodis; and sisters: Fely Hernandez, Josie Montano, Lulu (Ancing) De La Cruz, and Zeny (Ganie) Yumul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Natividad Miller, and brothers, Ponciano Montano and Perpetuo Montano.
A Funeral Mass will begin on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 12 p.m. at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, Lima. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of mass at the church.
