Florella Sue Landers

Florella Sue Landers, 87, passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her residence.

Florella was born on October 7, 1938, in Lima, Ohio, to Alfred and Florella (Gross) Mumaugh. She married Richard P. “Dick” Landers, who preceded her in death.

Florella loved gardening tomatoes and flowers. She also liked rescuing animals and taking care of them and spending time playing with her puppy in the garden. Florella also very much loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Cindy) Landers, Robert (Deb Lorge) Landers, David Landers, Dennis Landers, and Carol (Russell) Landers-Ish; a daughter in law, Janice Landers; grandchildren, Shane Landers, Courtney Landers, Jeremy Shipman, Brittany Shipman, Ashley Kennedy, Mattie Sue Ish; great-grandchildren, Luna Ish and several more; and a sister, Kay (John) Venturella.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Sally Raabe, Jane Mason, Bill Mumaugh, and Donnie Mumaugh.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Father David Ross will officiate.
